Your data protection rights
Last updated: 13 July 2026
Our role
For the personal data processed through the GHP Learning Hub, Global Health Partnerships (Charity Registration No. 1113101) acts as the data controller. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why.
Your rights
GHP supports the principle of fair and transparent processing of your personal data. Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:
- Be informed — chiefly through our Privacy Policy
- Access — ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your account and personal data
- Restrict processing — ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances
- Data portability — ask for your data in a format you can transfer elsewhere
- Object — object to processing based on our legitimate interests
- Rights related to automated decision-making, including profiling
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
Exercising your rights
Many of these you can act on directly from your Profile page — updating your details, or asking an administrator to remove your account. For anything else, email learning@globalhealthpartnerships.org and we'll respond within one month, as required by law.
Where your data is processed
Our service providers — Supabase (database and authentication) and Resend (email delivery) — process data on our behalf under contract, with appropriate safeguards for any transfer of data outside the UK.
